Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Utah Construction Signals is operated by Taylor Peterson, a sole proprietor in Utah doing business as Utah Construction Signals (“we”, “us”).
By using this site or buying a subscription or ad, you agree to these Terms.
2. What the service is
We summarize facts from public meeting agendas and city project lists published by Utah cities, counties and the State of Utah, with a link to each official source. Items are early planning signals, not permits, bids, approvals or leads.
3. Informational only — verify with the source
Content is provided “as is” for general information. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the official source always controls. It is not legal, financial, engineering or bidding advice. Verify everything with the issuing government body before relying on it.
We are independent and not affiliated with any city, county or the State of Utah.
4. Subscriptions
Paid plans (Professional $39/month, Business $79/month, or yearly at the price shown) are billed in advance through Stripe Checkout / Payment Links and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in the Stripe customer portal; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice for existing subscribers (founding rates are honoured as stated at purchase).
5. Advertising rules
Ad slots (ticker strip $49/month, exclusive city/category slot $99/month, site-wide sponsor $199/month, or yearly at the price shown) are always labelled “Sponsored”.
Ads must be truthful and lawful. We do not accept deceptive, misleading, illegal, discriminatory, adult, weapons, gambling or political content, ads that impersonate a government body, or ads that link to malware. Ads must be construction-relevant.
We may review, reject, edit for format, or remove any ad at our discretion. If we remove an ad that complied with these rules, we refund the unused portion; if it broke these rules, no refund is owed. Advertisers are responsible for their ad content and for having rights to any logos or text supplied.
6. Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site at high rates, resell bulk copies of the data, attempt to break security, or use the site to harass anyone. Underlying public records remain public; our summaries, selection and design are ours.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (including lost bids or profits). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
